Governor Alex Otti, OFR, Reaffirms Commitment to Making Abia a Haven for Investors at the Abuja Investment Expo 2025

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment Promotion and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), High Chief J.N. Green-Amakwe, stood in for His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, the Executive Governor of Abia State, at the recently held Abuja Investment Expo 2025, which occurred from October 22 to 24, 2025, at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

During his address at the Expo, the Special Adviser articulated the Governor’s firm commitment to fostering a supportive environment for investors and encouraging sustainable economic growth in Abia State. He reiterated that Governor Otti’s administration has prioritized infrastructure development, transparency, and security as fundamental elements in transforming Abia into a leading investment destination in Nigeria.

He mentioned that the state government has launched significant infrastructural renewal projects across the state, including the reconstruction of major roads, urban renewal efforts, and enhancements to power and water supply systems. These initiatives, he remarked, are intended to facilitate business operations and enhance investor confidence.

He highlighted that under Dr. Otti’s guidance, Abia State is swiftly becoming a secure haven for investors and businesses, thanks to the administration’s strategic policies that promote fiscal responsibility, accountability, and collaboration with the private sector.

The Special Adviser also showcased numerous investment opportunities in vital sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, renewable energy, and technology, inviting both local and international investors to explore the state’s burgeoning potential.

He thanked the organizers of the Abuja Investment Expo 2025 for providing a platform that fosters dialogue between the government and the private sector, emphasizing that Abia State is open to strategic partnerships that will drive economic growth and create job opportunities for its citizens.
