Abia State Gears Up for Investment Summit 2025.

Lagos, Nigeria — The Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State on Investment Promotion and Vega CEO, Prince Ojajuni, in conjunction with the Honorable Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Dr. Mrs. S.N. Obiukwu, conducted a joint press conference at the Lagos Airport Hotel Conference Room to reveal plans for the upcoming Abia–Turkiye Investment Summit and Product Exhibition, which is set to take place from November 25th to 27th, 2025, in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State.


The event aims to strengthen economic ties between Abia State and Turkiye, and is expected to draw both local and international investors, business leaders, and government officials, with the goal of fostering trade partnerships, industrial development, and technology transfer.


During the conference, Prince Ojajuni reiterated the firm commitment of Governor Alex Otti’s administration to enhancing infrastructure and creating a business-friendly environment in Abia State. He highlighted key initiatives of the government, including the Zero Pothole Initiative, which is transforming roads throughout the state, and ongoing security reforms under the newly established Operation Crush, designed to protect lives, properties, and businesses.


“Governor Alex Otti has shown a visionary approach to governance,” Prince Ojajuni remarked. “His administration’s focus on infrastructure and security instills confidence in investors that Abia State is open and ready for sustainable investment.”


In her remarks, Dr. Mrs. S.N. Obiukwu, the Hon. Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, emphasized Abia State's readiness to host the historic summit, assuring participants of a well-organized and impactful event.


“Abia is open for business,” she stated. “We are calling on Nigerian entrepreneurs, international investors, and development partners to take advantage of the abundant opportunities in our state. The Abia–Turkiye Summit 2025 will showcase our products, talents, and investment potential to the global community.

CEO Prince Ojajuni of Vega, the consulting firm for the event, reiterated his company’s commitment to ensuring the summit’s success.


Pastor John Onyemachi, the Project Manager of the Abia–Turkiye Investment Summit, also acknowledged Governor Otti for the impressive development and the rise of 24hours power supply in the Commercial Hub of Abia State which will be extended to other parts of Abia during his two years in office.


"This summit will be a gateway to even greater economic transformation," Pastor Onyemachi pointed out. "It will further open Abia to the world and draw in investments that will shape the state’s future."


The Abia–Turkiye Investment Summit 2025 is expected to be a landmark event that not only strengthens bilateral relations but also positions Abia State as one of Nigeria’s most attractive spots for commerce, industry, and innovation.
