Abia Targets Global Investors

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has tasked the Steering Committee for the Abia-Türkiye (TURAB) Investment Summit/Exhibition 2025 with the responsibility of formulating strategic initiatives that will not only guarantee a successful global business event but also promote industrialization in Abia State and throughout the South East region.

Governor Otti delivered this directive on Wednesday June 4th 2025 during the inauguration ceremony of the 11-member steering committee at Government House, Umuahia.

The Governor, who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, encouraged the committee to pinpoint viable areas for collaboration and to cultivate robust partnerships and joint ventures between Abia, other Nigerian states, and the Turkish investment community.
